April Fools Day is just around the corner- Can you believe it's March already?! This is one of my students favorite activities! They love finding mistakes in other people's work:) Let your students have a go at this unique activity and let me know how they love it!
What is a rhombus again?
Many of my geometry students have a difficult time remembering the qualities of a rhombus. I find that the best way to help them learn is by showing them that a rhombus is just a "tilted square." Like a square, a rhombus has four equal sides! Hope this trick helps in your classrooms! If your students need more help with quadrilaterals check out this helpful product!

My New Favorite Teaching Tool!
I went to the TpT conference in Vegas a few weeks ago and I fell in love with a new product- a paddle style dry erase board from KleenSlate! The best thing about the paddle is that you can easily interchange the background to fit your lesson. In the past I have always just used sheet protectors, but this is so much better. I can’t wait to start using them. I have already created some backgrounds that I plan to use for the upcoming school year. I recently began working with groups of homeschooled children and I know that they will be very engaged. The KleenSlate is such a simple way to make interacting in class so much more fun! I’m hopping that this product provides my more shy students with an opportunity to participate effortlessly. I love the flexibility and quality of the product. I have started my collection of templates here.
Parallel Lines, Transversals, and their Angles Foldable or Cheat Sheet
Parallel Lines, Transversals, and their Angles Foldable or Cheat Sheet
Some students LOVE foldables, but some don't!
I like to give my students a choice. I create all of my foldables so that if a student doesn't like to flip the flaps they can just as easily see all of the information on one flat page.
Corresponding, Alternate Interior, Alternate Exterior, Consecutive Interior, Vertical, and Linear Pair Angles are covered!
You can see my latest version here.

Back to School with Daily Algebra Warm Ups
Daily Algebra Warm Ups
Well it's back to school now and time for daily warm ups to start those math juices flowing.
I have created daily warm ups with questions from 76 specific Algebra topics. I use these warm ups for my Algebra I, Algebra II and even Geometry students. There are over 300 questions included. Two warm ups are on each page to save paper with 4 questions per warm up.
You can get them here.

RST - 123 A quick way to remember properties.
Math and Straws
Here is a couple of great ways to use straws and pipe cleaners to teach geometry. I have students create snowflakes and then discuss symmetry. To teach how to find the diagonal of the rectangular prism, have students create a 3-4-5 prism and then cut paper triangles to fit inside the prism. They can then prove to themselves that d = sqrt(l^2 + h^2 + w^2)!!!!!!! Enjoy!!!!
